Chocolate Muffins

Chocolate and Quark Muffins Recipe


Ingredients:



  • cups of wheat flour

  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1/2 sugar cup

  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 1 cup quark or Greek yogurt

  • 1/4 cup of vegetable oil

  • 1 egg

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips

  • Powdered sugar (optional, to decorate)


Instructions:



  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and place parchment paper on a baking sheet.

  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and salt.

  • In another bowl, combine the quark (or Greek yogurt), vegetable oil, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well until you get a uniform mixture.

  • Pour the liquid mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a homogeneous dough is formed..

  • Add the chocolate chips and stir to distribute them evenly in the dough..

  • With lightly floured hands, form small balls of dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each one.

  • Lightly flatten each bun with the palm of your hand.

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the buns are firm to the touch..

  • Let the rolls cool on a rack.

  • Optionally, sprinkle icing sugar over the cooled rolls before serving.r.
